Excellent overview of the Bahá’i Faith on BBC

Recently, the BBC published an article with extensive excerpts from a BBC audio podcast containing an excellent overview of the Bahá’i Faith.  The BBC Podcast is the latest in the BBC World Service’s “Heart and Soul” series which aims to “explore different experiences of spirituality from around the world” while getting “beyond superficial notions of spirituality and religion”.

A sad farewell to Ceo/President of Chamber of Commerce in Marysville

It was with great joy and sadness that much of the Marysville community gathered to honor the retiring Ceo/President Caldie Roger due to illness. Margaret Norman and Zabine Van Ness only just recently joined to be a volunteer at the Visitors Center. As members of the Baha’i community we wanted to be part to assist the many visitors and welcome them one by one.
There was not a dry eye in the banquet room at the Holiday Inn. One by one we watched the many attendees sing her praises….from Elders …

Time to share our love with Marysville Pilchuck High School today

Our small community took the time today to share our deep sadness and prayers with the Principle of Marysville Pilchuck Highschool Rob Lowry. We appreciated him taking time out of his busy day to meet with us for a short time. Several Baha’is around the country and send their cards of support, some prayer books and roses. It was so little but in the end they all took their place in a sea of appreciations send by so many. We delivered regards including from the friends from Newtown, Conn. who …
